I just got a Panasonic DVX 100B. I shot about 4 minutes of test footage. I then captured it in FCP and dropped it into the timeline and for some strange reason my video and audio are out of sync. There are probably about 50 things that could be wrong, anybody know an obvious problem that I’m missing?
I’m running FCP 5.04 Quad G5, I captured right from the camera into FCP.
    Thanks in advance!

Make sure you are not watching an External monitor (like the deck or camera) while having speakers plugged in.

Make sure you weren’t getting dropped frames on capture.

I use that camera all the time with no issues… so it should be an easy fix

It shouldn’t be too difficult. I’m teaching summer school right now, but i’ll go home later today and play around a little bit.
I’m not watching an external monitor with the speakers plugged in. The actual delay is when I’m viewing in FCP and monitoring the audio through the system speakers.
Any other advice is much appreciated, and I’ll continue to tinker around today.

    Just a follow up……..
I captured the same footage again, and this time no audio synch problems.
