audio sync problem from HDV tape
I notice a sync problem on a clip captured from an HDV tape into FCP as prores. There were a couple of time code breaks according to FC where I got an error message and had to exit the capture window and recue the deck to start again. Most of the clips were fine. I assume some frames were dropped. Could this cause a slight sync problem. Some times it looks like the talent’s mouth matches the audio but at moments something looks off. I’ve seen this when the audio was unlinked from the visual and by accident misaligned. But this was not the case here. Any thoughts?
