audio sync problem
I’m trying to digitize a 17 mins video reel from a betacam sp deck via Aurora Pipe (component video/balanced analog audio) in FCP…audio loose sync with video after a few minutes…….audio is always ahead video….I really don’t know what’s wrong….any suggestion???

How fast are your drives? Are you working with uncompressed video?

I’m running on a G5 with WD and Maxtor 250 GB HD in RAID configuration….and using DV compression….so I’m sure it’s not a hard drive speed problem….
