I rendered out to the Vimeo recommended mp4 specs and when I played it back, the audio was out of sync on some of the events.

Playback of mp4s by default on my computer is with QuickTime. When I right clicked on the mp4 file and opened in Windows Media Player, the file was in sync.

Thought the info might help someone.

I have the last build of Pro 11.

Although I don’t upload to vimeo, I believe it might be Vimeo’s fault for causing such a problem. Have you tested to upload it onto youtube as a test to see if it’s the website’s fault? I upload to youtube and personally, I never see any problem with syncing and when you said that it works on your computer and syncs just fine, then I personally believe again, that it’s Vimeo’s fault. But if I were you, upload it to youtube as a test and see if that works well.

    Hope this helped.

Thanks, I should have been clearer. I noticed the out of sync behavior on my locally installed mp4. I had rendered it to Vimeo’s recommended settings and caught the sync issue before it was uploaded it to Vimeo.

My point is that a lot of folks may be blaming Sony Vegas for sync issues when the issue is their media player. It’s usually the basics that trip most people up.
