  • Audio split channels EX1 – XDcam transfer – FCP

I had to downcovert about 300 clips from EX1 to DV_PAL via compressor. The result were both audio channels mixed in PAL. I needed the converted material stay with split audio, regardless how the pan-settings were. I can’t go in to the browser in FCP and adjust the panning one by one, and I don’t want to create a sequence for each clip and I don’t want to make a huge sequence of all the EX1-stuff and convert it to one long clip in DV_PAL.

    So my question is:
Can I when import with XDcam transfer have the audio split and panned Ch1 to left and CH2 to right?
Right now I get the audio split but the imported quicktime-files always have both channels centered.

    Or:
Is there a way of changing in the browser in FCP the properties of 300 clips? In this case it would be pan left and right each audio channel.
