We have one of our systems running through a Convergent-Design SDconnect box. All works great except that when you scrub the audio it comes out the computer speakers instead of the monitors hooked to the SDconnect. I can’t seem to find the setting to change this.
Anybody have the same problem and found a solution.

    Ken,

I believe that is “as designed”. Scrubbing is on audio hardware and playback can either be audio hardware of DV hardware.

Ken – this doesnt sound ( sorry) right to me although I know nothing of your breakout box.

I get audio through my external monotor amp/speakers when playing back or scrubbing. (PremPro / Matrox RTX / Audigy SoundCard)

I use the Audigy Card for all Audio in /out and do not use the MAtrox breakout box for that function. Maybe you can do the same with your audio card.
