  audio repeats itself and “thinks” the audio is duplicated

  I have a 44k aiff narration track that was subclipped form a long read which has been fine in a 48k seq. After I copied a sequence from a sub-master into a assembly seq (also 48k but 30fps whereas the submaster was 24fps)

  I’m getting the strangest thing where the audio repeats itself and “thinks” the audio is duplicated (line that hi-lites duplicate material shows in the TL on 2nd part of ever audio clip) but honest there are no edits within each clip that is repeating.

  The submaster is fine but try as I might to cut & paste the whole narration trk, each audio clip in this part of the Timeline insists on repeating once it lands in the 48k Assembly. Anyone know what causes this and how to fix?

  p.s. yes I could export aiff or an audio Qt & re-import but I’d rather get to the root of the problem.
