  • Audio Renders look fine, repeat– read on…

Recently I’ve begun seeing a weird audio error, especially on clips that I relink or are from a Media Managed project. The audio clip will start right, then at some random time start over from the beginning. Associated video doesn’t repeat, and if I match frame to the master clip it seems to be fine and I can recut it in to fix the error. However, it means that when I make minor changes to a show I have to recheck all audio for the problem.

Anyone else running into this weirdness? Love to hear from you.

Delete all of your audio render files and renrender.

Are they all 48k 16 or 24bit PCM audio?

I’ve seen this a couple of times. I reconnected the media and all was well.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have tried a mixdown render, but it renders the errors into the mixdown. Deleting my render files and rerendering works, as does the relink. The advantage of nuking the render files is that it’s fast– it seems when I relink it also relinks the associated video, triggering another video render pass.

What’s odd is that the waveform in the viewer shows the waveform of the file as it should be, not with the errors.

    Completely different operations.
