Audio recorder as an external mic
Hi I’m a journalist trying to figure out ways to use technology to make web videojournalism.
My question is: has anybody tried to use a broadcast quality voice recorder such as Edirol R-09 or Zoom H4 to edit with video shot with a prosumer quality camera (e.g: Sony A1, Canon HV20 or Panasonic AG-HSC1U)?
Could it work: with good quality and sound/image synchrony?
Any thoughts about it?

Hello Marcella and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum,
Depending on how you want to shoot and edit, you can try something as simple as the small Olympus I use. It shoots 15 fps quicktime movies with sound and is about the size of a bar of soap.
