What’s the difference/or benefits of four audio channels and two? When I used only 2 of the 4 audio tracks am I getting rid of need data?

    Thanks

Hard to answer that question without knowing your end format and requirements.

If you are only recording on two channels, then that’s all you need. Deleting unused tracks is going to save a lot of track space and work for your sound post people who would otherwise have to check those channels and discard them anyway.
