Audio Problems When Nesting
Here’s a strange one. I’m working on doing a sound mix for a project that we need to get out the door next week. After a few unsuccessful attempts because of dropped frames, etc. I nested the sequence in a brand new project. The “print to video” layoff worked but in several spaces where I have stereo music the audio shifts up and down rather violently. This is a relatively infrequent thing. It only happened about five times in a fifteen minute program. Here’s the weird thing. I went back and laid off a portion of the original sequence where there was offensive audio. I just played straight out of the sequence with no nesting. The audio sounded fine. Then I tried printing to video from the original sequence- fine again. Then I tried nesting the original portion and recording straight from a sequence- fine again. Finally, when I re-tried using the print-to-video function with a nested sequence I got the problem again. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Quinn
