  • Audio problems – Pulsing or skipping when render

I am having a problem with audio that I just can’t figure out.

Ok, I import some quicktime movie clips, then add a mp3 audio track.

When I run an audio preview, everything is fine, but when I “Make Movie” I get a regular pulsing or hiccup in the audio track every time. Doesn’t matter what settings I use, it’s always there. Again, preview is fine, just with renders.

I am using 6.5 but it was the same problem in 5.0. Thanks for any help.

AE still doesn’t play well with mp3.
Try converting your audio to wav or aiff and then re-rendering.

    Good luck.

Convert your mp3 to a .wav file and use that. You’ll get better results.

What those two ^ said about not using mp3…
    and

The Render Queue is a much better way (more options) to get video out of AE.

    The “Great” stands for “Not-So-Great”
