Audio problems in FCP 5
We recently installed a FCP 5 system and have found that any digitized audio plays back 6dB low. We also recently installed a FCP 4.5 system with the same hardware configuration but it does not have this problem. It’s driving my editor crazy, any thoughts on this?

It’s playing back then lower than what the meters said during playback of a tape in the log and capture window?

Correct. If I record tone at -18, it plays back at -24. Regardless of the level recorded, the system plays back 6dB lower. This is confirmed on both FCPs meters and my post mac Dorroughs.
