  • Audio problem with IMX codec.

I have a client that cannot hear audio form .mov file recorded on nanoflash in IMX codec. (This is a well regarded pro codec, related to the XDCAM EX codec, but for SD footage) The audio plays when he opens in Quicktime player, but not in Premiere. He said it was because audio is Big Endian, but so is Prores, and he can use that. These files have audio 24 Bit Integer (Big Endian) @ 48K…the only difference is Prores seems to save as 16 bit.

Any suggestions…BTW he only had Premiere Pro 2.0, but I don’t want to tell him to upgrade if it won’t work. It also won’t play on his lightworks software.
