  • Audio Preview and shortcut for stopping where it is?

    Hello,

I’m syncing my animations to the music. I want to make markers where beat changes. I figured that you have to press “Control+period” to play the audio preview. The problem is that everytime I hit space bar to stop where I want to make a marker the indicatior goes straight back to where I started playing the preview…

Is there anyway that I can stop and leave the indicator where it is? Any shortcut keys? Please let me know. Thanks again.

Sorry, there is not. What you can do is solo your audio layer and do a RAM preview to get it to stop with the spacebar. You don’t have to stop to add a layer marker though, if you are tapping out to the beat just use the “*” on the number keypad and you can add the markers as the music plays.
