    Audio popping at beginning of tracks

    Hi –

    I’ve checked out the other threads that dealt with audio popping or crackling and made adjustments noted there. No go.

    I have several tracks running. At the very beginning of each, I get a slight “crackle” transient.

    I’m working with CS3 on a Mac, operating at 44K. I rec’d some of the files as MP3s, but used Amadeus Pro to edit them and then re-saved at 44K aiffs.

    Any thoughts?

    Dave –

    I will push on! And yea, I will probably sweeten the final production in some sound app. Right now it’s just annoying because I’m dashing off revisions to The Client, and I didn’t want them to hear this stuff and get all weird about it….
