Audio Pop filter
I’ve tried to add an audio pop filter to the voice track I’m working on, When I render it, the voice disappears, although the audio waveforms are still there. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

What format is the voice in? If it’s mp3, convert that using compressor to 48k 16bit or above and then edit. FCP does not do well with mp3s.

What kind of “pop filter” are you using?

pop filter in FCP 5.1 audio effects/filters

You should move out to Soundtrack Pro and try getting rid of clicks and pops there.

I would think there would bbe someone here that can give a simple answer to what must be a simple problem.
There is a voiceover recorded where the executive was popping his P’s. It appears that FCP has a filter that minimizes these pops. Does it not work? ALL I’M TRYNG TO DO is apply that filter to the track in the timeline. When I do, it shows me that I need to render it. When I render it, the audio disappears, yet the audio waveforms are still there. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?
