Audio playback settings for blackmagic
Slowly working though some hardware issues before CS6 gets put into a first project…
In a previous post, I had mentioned that my audio meters were out of sync with the audio. I seem to have found the issue. If I choose Blackmagic device as the audio playback device in the new playback prefs panel for CS6, the meters are out of sync. If I choose Blackmagic audio in the audio hardware panel, they’re fine. I also have a choice called blackmagic audio/blackmagic audio.
So, should I NOT be choosing blackmagic in the playback panel? That would be too logical. If so, should I choose the Blackmagic audio or the blackmagic audio/blackmagic audio choice?
Seem to be getting quite a few connection losses with the BM Intenisty Extreme as well as kernel panics.
