    he can anyone please tell me how to control audio playback rate of an audio track and also which is the best setting used in sorenso squeese for high quality dvd output……….

    For Squeeze,

    The best setting for greatest quality/compatability with DVD players is the MPEG2 DVD_PAL-Lg or DVD_NTSC_lg depending on your format.

    By audio playback rate, I’m assuming you mean the sample rate. The audio sample rate for DVD is 48KHz.

    Depending on your capture source it is usually best to use 48KHz audio throughout if your destination source is DVD.

    In most Avid editing applications you set your project to match your source. eg. DV25 – DV Video/48KHz 2-channel audio. You also have the option to automatically up-sample any other imported audio media into your project.
