Audio playback problem after digitizing
I have a Mac Pro and I’m digitizing footage using a Sony HVR-M15U. My version of Final Cut is 7.0.3. While I’m digitizing I hear the audio just fine. When I play it back it is very low and distorted. The video goes in just fine. I have G-4 and have the very same problem. When this happened with the G-4 I called Apple but they wouldn’t help me because they don’t support G-4s any more. They basically blew me off. When I bought the Mac Pro I called them again, thinking that now that I have a newer computer I could get help. But now they won’t help me because I’m using an older version of Final Cut. They are only supporting version 10 now. I am at the end of my rope. I hope some smart editor or techy out there can help. I’m thinking it’s just a simple setting I have wrong. I’m an editor NOT a tech. HELP PLEASE!!!
