Audio output question
I’m just getting around to setting up my new Kona LH (new user) and I’m having a bit of an audio problem on playback. I’m getting a bit of an echo (for lack of a better term) at the end of any audio clip playing in FCP, or any audio file (QT – etc..) playing through the CPU’s audio out to the Kona board.

No audio mixer.

This is from the Kona 2 support page, but I bet it applies for your Kona Lh as well. It is not recommended to use your Kona for your system audio output.

If you have a mixer, simply take the audio out of the headphone jack of the G5 and run into your audio monitors, leave the Kona for FCP.

No problem. Please be aware, if you use your Kona for audio monitoring with anything but FCP and you change your output levels with the volume up down keys on your keyboard, you will have to reset this control panel as the levels will change. That is why I do not recommended it for use with your system sounds.
