Question for someone who might be willing to help:

Footage shot to mini DV tape on HDVX200 in 24p mode. Footage then captured into FCP 5.1.4 at 29.97. Used the FCP function Cinema Tools Reverse Telecine to convert footage to 24 fps – stuff looks great – no interlacing or duplicated frames. Audio seems consistantly about 2 frames out of sync when I line up audio waveform with the camera slate slamming shut. I have been through this workflow once before on a project so as far as I understand this is not abnormal after converting footage shot 24p. I seem to remember there being a button you could ad from back in FCP 4.5 where you select the clip you want to affect in the browser and then push the button and FCP adjusts the audio all nifty and automatically and 9 times out of 10 moved the audio back into sync appropriately. I’ve been looking around FCP 5.1.4 and searching threads and can’t find the audio adjust button or menu function I need in FCP 5.1.4 … ? Does this function still exist ? Am I just forgetting what it was called? Please advise. Thanks!
