Audio not working in after affect effect CC
I have checked all the option for the audio to play when preview.
1) Audio “ON” in Comp
2) Audio “ON” in preview
3) No option as device class in edit –> preference –> Audio hardware –> No option as device class.

but could not find the uncheck option from the comment “I did have though until I unchecked Digital Out to Optical (S/PDIF)” or “but I did uncheck the optical in AE – and bam – it works”.
Could you please let me know the correction option in steps?

Try these following steps to see if this will help and best of luck:
- In Adobe After Effects, go to “Edit” menu > “Preferences” > “Audio Hardware”.
- Under “Device Class”, find and select the device that corresponds to your audio hardware (likely a USB audio interface or a sound card installed in your computer).
- If the “Digital Out to Optical (S/PDIF)” option is checked, uncheck it. If it is already unchecked, skip this step.
- Click “OK” to close the preferences window.
After you have done these steps, try again to preview your comp and see if the audio is able to play correctly. Let me know if it helped or have any further questions.
