Audio Muted
Opened up Audition for the very first time. I’m sending an audio clip in from Premier to get rid of a slight amount of hiss.
When playing the clip, I only get a visual deflection in the VU but I can’t hear a thing. Went into preferences and made sure my audio hardware was set to USB, etc. but nothing. I’ve been searching for a mute button somewhere but cannot find one.
Any suggestions?

In the past I’ve seen that if you mute media player software and don’t unmute before exiting it can have adverse effects in other programs or browsers.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the soundcard drivers may help too.
