    Audio Monitoring with Kona 2

    I currently have a small analog mixer that feeds to speakers, each with its own internal amp. I’m thinking of adding a KONA2 card (for HD capabilities) to my Io system. What is the recommended way to monitor audio while editing?

    What if I got rid of the Io? How could I monitor audio with an analog mixer?

    My system:

    Dual G4 1.42 GHz
    2 GB RAM
    OS 10.3.9
    FCP 4.5
    QT Pro 6.5.2
    Compressor 1.2.1
    AJA Io with Driver v2.0 and Firmware Update v23-28
    AJA ProIO Control Panel v 1.0.0
