When I raise the volume using the master fader, will that actually raise the level when I output say to DVD? I’ve already raised the individual audio track volume the max 12 db, but it is still too low, so I guess the master volume is my last resort. Thanks

I would avoid the master in this situation as it will boost the gain of all the clips in the timeline.

Either nest the offending clip and then adjust the gain on the nest, or apply an audio filter with a gain control and adjust the filter to give the clip more level.
