  Audio Mixer does not work in FCP after sending selection to Compressor

  Strange quirk that is bugging me now. Whenever I send a selection from my FCP 7.0 timeline to Compressor, I am not able to go back to FCP and work with the Audio Mixer. The Audio plays back fine, however, it only registers in the Audio MIxer when I scrub on the timeline. Am I missing a button or something? My work around is to close down FCP each time and reopen. When I do this, the Audio Mixer works fine.

  Anyone familiar with this?

  I am trying to EQ and export select points in the timeline so each segment has matched audio. The segments came from various other timelines.
