  • Audio levels go very low unless Surround Sound is turned off.

Okay, I know I can just turn it off, but I’m not sure that will always work…and I want to know what I’m doing wrong.

I create a multi track video, render it as mpg2, DVD NTSC…as an mpg it looks and sounds just lovely on my computer.

Then I put it into Architect and create the video, the sound levels (especially for wav files it seems but not soley) the levels drop very low, sometimes barely audible.

I tried getting rid of all the envelopes (I put this in due to the different levels of audio I was given)

I’ve rendered this as ac3 and then tried to combine and while I don’t get an ‘error’ message in architect that the audio will be compressed, it does the same thing.

BUT…if I turn off surround sound on my stereo…sounds just fine.

    Help!

Rendering it out now with the normalization level turned up…

What’s weird is that my music track is fine, it’s the voice overs (sent in wav format) that are getting lost.

Thanks for the tip…hopefully that will fix it!

Thank you so much Edward! Worked perfectly. How odd that the level isn’t the default.

    Thanks for all you do!

What many people have done is make a new preset with those settings and then always render using that preset.
