I am on the verge of completing my 3rd year film and have just hit a brick wall. The audio level from a selection of sequences all from the same tape have vanished. The audio was captured with the video directly onto the same tape and has been playing for weeks on the timeline until today! I’ve checked all the obvious fixes like making sure its not muted etc, it’s not that simple and I am completely lost. Other than copying all the sequences in again I can’t see a way around this and have found nothing on the net. Please please does anyone have any idea what’s going on?

    PROBLEM SOLVED!

If anyone has the same problem – go to your project window, right click on the source footage that the clip is from and select Interpret Footage. Hit OK and this should fix it!

Hope this helps and if it was an obvious fix then I don’t know prem pro as well as I thought!

Sounds like a bug to me.
