audio level adjustments
Posted by Nico Sandhof on October 9, 2006 at 8:37 amDeckLink 5.7.1 for Mac OS X 10.4 Universal:
“This software update adds audio level adjustments”That is great! But why that cannot my Decklink Extreme?
With our Multibridge Extreme works that very well.
Finally operates correctly on Betacam SP.Still another does update come for the “small” cards?

October 10, 2006 at 6:34 amHi Nico,
I’m glad you like the new audio adjustment feature. It is not something we had advertised but we had received requests for it so our newer products were designed with audio adjustment in mind. That is why it is only available on the most recent products with AES or analog audio input, ie DeckLink HD Extreme, Multibridge Extreme and Multibridge Pro.

I’m very happy to see they finally understood why we need it!-Yves

Thanks for your requests and suggestions. It took a while but we do retain requests for new features so if we see the same one coming up repeatedly, even occasionally, we’ll know that it is something that more people want and we’ll try to add it.

We’ll be adding this feature to the DeckLink/Multibridge 5.7.2 drivers which are due for release very soon. The audio adjustment feature for Windows will support the DeckLink HD Extreme, Multibridge Extreme and Multibridge Pro which is the same as the support we have added for Mac OS X.
