Audio keyframing over waveform view in Source panel?
Hello,
I’m coming from FCP7 and have an audio keyframing question. In FCP7 I typically do almost all of my audio keyframing in the Viewer, not in the timeline. So far in looking at tutorials so far it looks like in PPro you can keyframe audio in the timeline, or in the Effects panel of the source monitor. However, it seems you can’t write in keyframes over the waveform view of the source/viewer as you can in Final Cut??? I think I’m going to cry, I hope it’s not true. 🙁 ??? -

Nope, sorry. Expand your audio track as large as you like and keyframe there. The program monitor does not display audio, only the source monitor.

Each panel is independent, the effects panel relates to the selected item in your timeline not your source item. The layout is just stacked to optimize space.
