    Hi there,

This is my first post. Want to take the chance to ask how’s everyone?

Here’s my question. I’m trying to do an assembled edit with my 10 minute short shot on DVX100. But whenever I connect my Panasonic consumer dv camera to my MAC, the audio playback for my film would have short clicks or pauses in them. I’ve down mixed the audio and even export the movie as a self contained quicktime file and tried to do an assembled edit. But the clicks persist. They will only go away when I dissconnect my camera from the MAC. I’m running on a dual 1.25Ghz G4 and 512ram and Final Cut Pro HD4.5. This problem has never occured to me before as I was able to do assembled edits with no problem in the past.

    Any advise is much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Daniel

a camera is not an editing deck.
you CANNOT do assemble edits with it, at least not like a normal editing recorder.
