Hey everyone, just wondering if there was something i was missing, pretty knew to the program. I have Sony Vegas 12, any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I open the project and play it in Sony Vegas it looks and sounds great. However when I render it and play the file the audio is sped up significantly

    Thanks
    Dustin

Which format you rendered it in and which media player you
played it on when it sped up?

ok, So it was your render format choice/settings that was off.

That’s a weird one, Steve. If the file is playing at normal video speed, and the audio is sped up… then the audio would finish before the video part of the file. If it happened to say, an hour long clip, then it would have to strip the audio and play that at one speed and the video at another. Gee… I’d like to figure how that happens!

It was very odd, the audio would play as normal for about 1sec then sped up to about 2 or 3x. Also having video driver crash during render on a different video in all formats except one. I’m guessing because of some effect.
