Audio in rendered mpeg2 video much louder than in project
I used an mp3 track from Kevin MacLeod in a commercial for broadcast I shot. Comcast doesn’t specify what level it should be at, but I’m trying to set it pretty low compared to what I normally do for the internet-below -10db. When I play back the rendered video, though, the music is much louder.
Here are my audio render specs.
Audio mode: Stereo mode
Psychoacoustic mode: Psychoacoustic Model 2
Audio Layer: Audio Layer 2
Bit rate (Kps): 384
Emphasis: No emphasis (default)
Sample rate (Hz): 48,000Embedded CRC protection enabled
As far as I can tell, the only way of contacting Comcast about this is an email form to the administrator. The commercial’s due today, so I guess my best option is to make the audio average at -24db. Do I do this by merely adjusting the gain bar on the audio event?
