    audio importation issues

    Hi, I just got sony vegas studio 7 a couple weeks ago. It’s working great, but whenever I capture video the audio that is being played by the camera is recorded by the microphone. Because of this any other sound (music or voices in the background) that is made while I capture my video gets recorded as well. I know that imovie doesn’t capture audio this way.

    Can I do anything to change this so that it doesn’t record with my PC microphone?

    Your post suggests you’re not capturing via firewire?

    Yeah, I’m using a usb connection. Do I need a firewire?

    Yep. Firewire is THE recommended way of getting material into Vegas,
