audio hit
Cannot figure this one out… have a song in mp3 format. when i play it through itunes sounds fine no audio hit. When i put it in the preview window in FCP no hit. When I drop it into the timeline there is a hit. The waveform view has no spike either. any help is appreciated.

Use iTunes (or Quicktime) to convert it to the same standard as your Final Cut sequence. Most likely that means a 48 kHz AIFF. Then, import the converted version and use that to edit with.
