Audio has an echo
I’ve got an audio narration that has an echo on it. I’ve been trying to get rid of it for the last three days, Can anyone help… Thank you

Is the ‘echo’ slightly before the voice (a common problem with some analogue tapes) or is the echo actually room noise or a poorly recorded voice or has it been artificially been put there, is the track a stereo or mono track?
Is there any chance you can post some on line so we can have a listen.

Can’t do a lot for that problem. I can suggest a plugin that has sometimes helped but with limited expectations.

Id not expect much joy with this unless its something basic like 1 leg has slipped to the other and youre listening to a LR stero file in mono. That whould be easy, but if it is truly on the same recording then youll need a re voice.
At least a vo is re doable, not like a shoot etc.
If its been supplied to you externally then just reject it and get the supplier to sort it if its his problem.

Post your sample on a public file-sharing website and post the link here. Without hearing the sample, we can offer only wild speculation. Don’t get your hopes up that the problem can be fixed in post-production editing.
