Audio going out of sync on export to h264
Got a weird problem. Using premiere pro cs4 and footage imported from panasonic agaf101 (avchd). I have a single camera interview with two audio sources split (One mic on channel one on and one on channel two). My usual procedure is to duplicate the audio file and add ‘fill right’ to one and ‘fill left’ to the other. I have done this successfully on projects for years.
However when i export the clips as h264 the audio goes slightly out of sync. It sounds like a heavy reverb.
Any idea what might cause this?

The “heavy reverb” sounds to me like two separate (but otherwise identical) audio tracks that are slightly out of sync with each other. Do you have more than one audio track running side by side?

that’s the weird thing. yes, there are two audio tracks. track one is duplicated onto track two. but they are perfectly aligned.
