Audio getting affected by time remapping
Sachin Jadhav
April 6, 2021 at 3:32 amI am working on a project, I have a separate audio layer (first layer) and a video layer with the audio muted (last layer) and I have applied time remapping to the video layer. The issue is now that whenever the video slows down or speeds up the audio also slows down and speeds up along with it. I want to know how to keep the audio speed default without the time remap affecting it. I have attached the screenshot of the layers below.

April 6, 2021 at 11:27 amThe audio speed should only be changing where you have time remapping keyframes. Can you confirm that layer 1 has no time remapping?
If that’s already the case, double-check the Preview panel during playback and make sure that playback is not dropping below real-time.

April 6, 2021 at 1:50 pmMaybe clear your cache, reset preferences, or copy the layers into a new comp, then. A speed change on layer 7 should not have any impact on layer 1.

April 8, 2021 at 11:36 amI tried everything that you suggested but the audio still sounds weird when I preview the composition, do you think the audio might be fine when I render the comp?
