once its nested in multi camera timeline how do you select individual tracks of AUDIO (left ,right).

We used camera 1’s audio for the edit which was fine until we reached a bad spot. Now we need a piece of camera 2’s audio.
Can you edit audio in the multi camera timeline, if so how do you do it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.. Previous Avid and Edit Editors perplexed!!

This might be seen a bit of a work around, but why don’t you copy and paste the audio into the MC edit sequence and then only cut the vision, technically the audio should be same for a multi-cam edit, the only this that’s truely being edited in MC workflow is shot choices. So get the audio in there correctly and just focus on switching your camera angles. (switch off the speaker icon on the audio track that’s part of the nested MC seq).

You can alt-click the audio you want to replace, then right click, multicamera and select the camera whose audio you want to use. That should do it, if I understand your issue correctly.
