    Hi All,

I know AE is not the ideal application to fix audio, but where I work at, it is all I have since I mainly work with print and web media. I recorded a voiceover using a Windows application (don’t laugh) and the audio sounded like it was recorded through a telephone. I know that there is just so much I can do to enhance that, but I was hoping for suggestions on how to make that better through AE 6.5 Pro. Any advice will be much appreciated.

Nope, no way. What I have learned thru my own experiences in doing the voiceovers for my tutorials is that you need a good equalizer and a noise gate and neither of what little AE has to offer in ways of audio tools will do it for you. Do a search, there are many free wave editors around which will work better than anything you could hope to accomplish in AE. Also consider e.g. the 30 day trial of Audition.

Thank you for the advice, Mylenium. I will look into Audition and search for some free wave editors out there.
