Audio Effect to adjust levels
On a regular basis I get several clips with different levels of audio and have to go through each one and adjust so the all come out with the same level. Is there an effect that will automatically adjust each level to the same output? Perphaps I can creat a preset and apply to the entire track?

Sony’s Production Assistant has a very easy function which will do this job: Normalize Track.

There is also a free script (author unknow) available: Normalizeall.js. Maybe this script will work with your version of Vegas.

I use a free program called: Levelator. Here’s a line from their website:
“Do you believe in magic? You will after using The Levelator to enhance your podcast. And you’ll be amazed that it’s free, now even for commercial use.”
I use it on every production and continue to be amazed how much better my audio tracks sound.
