Audio Effect – Blending L & R Ch
In Adobe Prem CS3, While shooting church services:
While editing, what audio effect will allow me to blend audio from left and right channels for a small video clip.
While videoing, most of the time I capture sound from the sound board and on the camera distribute that sound across both channels. The camera has its own mic, so at times to the capture the congregation singing I will use the onboard mic to capture one channel and the sound board for the other channel for piano mic and singer mic. Now as I edit, I want to “blend” the audio of just that clip so that both L & R audio is combined for both channels.
Here is a trick that I have to do first before blending, I need to increase the volume for the sound captured by the camera mic to bring it up to the sound coming from the board, then blend while holding that increased volume. I don’t want the blending process to cause the loss of the increased volume.
Just trying to be creative.

Try exporting your current audio track and then bring that new track back in on track 2. on track 1 use effect fill right, on track 2 use fill left. Then do your tweeking on audio levels
