Audio… dumb question
I have a miniDV video that I edited in FCP. I had it mixed, and I received it back and laid it down in my FCP. Then I exported to a DVD in stereo. But what is the audio format that I have? How can I find out? What is a Dolby format? Can I have it in dolby? I know those questions are really silly to have, but I just don’t know the answers to it. Thanks.

The audio properties should be listed in the “settings” when you exported it. It’s not changed by burning to a DVD.

The format of the exported audio would depend on which choices you made when you exported the production with Quicktime or Compressor.
