Hi. I’m getting a dropout every 30 frames in my audio… this is the second project in a row where I’m getting this error.
It’s really bugging me. Anyone seen this before (heard it?)…

    I appreciate your feedback.

    Say, you’re right!

I’m still learning so much about the Mac… so many little funny things, you know? I’m still in the throes of the Mac “switch” campaign, having been a Pc’er for all my computing days (if you don’t count my detour down the Amiga/Toaster heyday… I bought three of those great machines over the years!)

But now I’ve got three Macs in the house… that outnumbers my kids!

    And counting…

    Thanks!

Similar to Scott, I’m a long-time Windows user who is now working on both platforms. I’ve never had an audio dropout problem since I’m already in the habit of converting mp3s to wav on PC and aif on Mac. I recently did a very large project (on a Mac) with dozens of small soundFX and didn’t convert a couple of mp3s. If I have a 2-second mp3 soundFX at one point in a 6-minute comp, can it make dropouts occur throughout the entire comp?
