Audio drift (anew)
I’ve got 24fps video from a Canon 60D and matching audio recorded to my Panasonic HVX camera at 30fps (I didn’t have my Zoom H4N system figured out yet).
I’ve got about sixty separate clips from the 60D strung out on a timeline, with their corresponding sixty separate audio clips from the HVX. The whole timeline is 30-minutes duration.
I’ve tried setting my project properties to 24fps and 30fps, and have tried outputting a WMV at both 24fps and 30fps and I get audio drift (starting out okay, gets behind toward the middle, then pretty bad by the end).
I saw John Rofrano’s post about clock crystals being different between devices, but these are all separate clips and they’re only thirty seconds long or so, so that doesn’t seem to be the same thing.
Am I missing something obvious about a setting somewhere? I’ve mixed formats a lot with Vegas and it’s never seemed to be a problem. Is there an easy workaround for this?

Have you tried with other formats than WMV? It may just be the combination of Vegas and WMV.
