Audio distortion after 720p rendering
In the middle of the trial with Pro 10d and leaning toward purchasing it but need to clear some hurdles first.
I made a simple photo montage with transitions, sound effects, and background music. A short montage, about one minute, fifteen seconds. Everything played perfectly on the timeline, perfectly rendered in 640 x 480, and *rendered in real time* without a hitch. I then tried to render the project in 720p and had trouble with the audio only. I set the Project Property Template to HDV 720-30p (1280×720, 29.970 fps), and Audio settings to default. With rendering I first used MainConcept AVC/AAC (*mp4) with default Audio settings and got some choppy background music and distorted sound effects. I then tried Sony AVC/MVC (*.mp4) and everything was good except some of the sound effects were either distorted or missing.
What other settings can I play with?
Will 1080p pose new problems?
Thanks all.
Ron.
