audio cuts in and out in avid help!
using mojo and the avid 4.5.1 on windows xp studio i am having trouble playing audio on the timeline audi seems to go in and out like a hitting a bump are or like a record hiting a scratch not big but enuff to be very anoying and noticable. when i play the audio but it self it plays fin in the monitor window or the time line but when i add video to the time line the problem happens i created the video in after effect then saved to qt format and imported it in to avid what do you guys thing the problem is and what is the best way to fix?
thanks guys just i got jobs on the table but cant do cuz of this..

now i just did a test if i export the time like say to a wmv the sound fine in the clip so the problem is in the real time playback which i assume it will affrct output to tape ?
here is my setup
dual xeon 2.6 ghz tyan 2665 motherboard1 gig mem
1 sata drive uses for operating system
quadro 1100 video card
2 ide drives for backgrounds music lib etc other stuff wester digital 72 gigs each 8 meg cach
1 72 gig scsi seagate 10k rpm drive for video
the video clip has no effects on it just a 1 min long clip
it was not even captured it was rendered in ae .i just saved the clip now as a wmv file no audio problems
i got the fire wire going to the mojo from the puter and a got 2 rca cables going out to my speakers
