I am trying to train people to clean their audio before output.
What are the optimal settings to ensure vocals are kept within the best range?

Personally, I export to Soundtrack Pro and eq, normalise etc… but I am wanting a ‘quick fix’ within FCP for the newbies.

Our vocal track isn’t peaking but it is inconsistent.

Find the settings you like and drag the filter to a bin where it can be used again and again. You can also make it a favorite.
