  audio clipping after capture

  I did a shoot today. I check all my audio levels….everything looked fine. I listened through earphones the entire shoot…..never heard anything but crisp audio. I’m using a Cannon HV20 as my deck. When it plays, the audio sounds fine. I am capturing via HDMI through my blackmagic card, converting from HD to Pro Res. Once it plays through into FCPS2 one channel is clipping pretty bad. I recorded using two wireless lavs. In scenes with two talent I can cut the clipped section down and the other mic picks up just fine. However I have some clips with the clipping channel only that I really need. What can I do?
